Restaurant customers of the marketing and hospitality SaaS company OpenTable needed a way to assess and certify the skills of their in-house restaurant staff in using the product.

In response to this customer need, I developed the GuestCenter app certification course, which directly assesses product knowledge through practice walkthroughs and software simulations.

The certification course was deployed through OpenTable’s external customer support knowledge base and marketed in customer collateral. The course was repurposed internally for sales and customer support teams to assess their product knowledge and boost confidence when speaking with customers.
